  • May 4 - May First Friday Art Walk - Visit over 45 downtown locations including galleries, studios, restaurants and shops. Celebrate Binghamton's growing Art Community.
  • May 4 - World Night Market - The World Night Market Binghamton is launching its’ first International street market event in in the heart of downtown Binghamton along the river on the MLK Promenade and the Court Street Bridge. Tented vendors, local restaurants, musicians and entertainers will gather together creating a unique atmosphere with all the smells, sounds and activities of a bustling marketplace and block party.
  • May 5 - Shrine Circus
  • May 5 - Southern Tier Taco Take Down 2018 for the American Cancer Society @ Traditions - Join the American Cancer Society for the Southern Tiers first ever Taco Festival where areas leading restaurants come together to showcase and compete in four taco categories. Mariachis and live entertainment included.
  • May 5- Binghamton Philharmonic Presents: Magnificent Mozart
  • May 11 - Peaceful Pairings - The Board, Staff, and Volunteers of ACCORD, A Center for Dispute Resolution, cordially invite you to join us at Peaceful Pairings; an evening of wine and beer tasting delectably paired with hors d’oeuvres, entrees and desserts hosted at Remlik’s on Friday, May 11th, 2018 from 6-9 p.m.
  • May 12 - Parlor City Tricks Roller Derby - Join Broome County's only all women roller derby team, the Parlor City Tricks, take on their 2018 season with 7 home games at two different venues!
  • May 13 - Mother’s Day at the Zoo! - Treat your mom to a lovely day of fun at the Binghamton Zoo! To thank them for all that they do, all moms will receive free admission on Mother's Day.
  • May 20 - 2018 Terror at the Terra MAXXIS ESC ENDURO - Welcome to the Terror at the ‘Terra a four run enduro on the vertiginous slopes of the former Innsbruck USA that is sure to test your skills, stamina, and fortitude.
  • May 21 - Flarf and Found Poetry Workshop - The Broome County Arts Council will be hosting a Flarf and Found Poetry Workshop, facilitated by Dr. Joshua Lewis, on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 6-8 p.m. at 81 State Street, 5th Floor, Binghamton. The goal of this workshop is to explore how newspaper articles, press releases, and random bits of conversation can be transformed into poetry. This poetry workshop is free for Broome Arts Council Members and the General Public.
  • May 26 - Health and Fitness Expo - In years past this event was called the Victory Fitness Expo and complimented the City of Binghamton’s Herald of Victory Marathon that takes place on the Sunday following the Expo (more information on the Marathon and the weekend’s activities is below).
  • May 27 - Herald of Victory Half and Full Marathons and Relays - The Herald of Victory Marathon and the Victory Health and Fitness Expo are part of the Binghamton Marathon Weekend and include other exciting activities and events. The Marathon Music Festival, Tour de Victory Cycling Tour, and Victory Kids Race all happen on Sunday, and the weekend ends with the Binghamton Memorial Day parade on Monday.

  • June 1 - Phelps Mansion Museum Tours - The museum houses many paintings from many 19th century artists such as Edmund D. Lewis, M. Van Wyck and Harry Roseland. The museum itself is a work of art. Designed by Isaac G. Perry, the museum is open to the public for all to see one of the best examples of Victorian architecture.
  • June 2 - Scout Weekend - Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts who arrive dressed in their scout uniform get free entry to the Binghamton Zoo! Scout Weekend is the Binghamton Zoo’s way to celebrate and support scouts in all that they do and learn.

  • June 3 - Beers and Beasts (8K and Hound Dog Dash) - Water Street Brewing Co. and the Triple Cities Runners Club are excited to bring you the 3rd Annual Beers and Beasts 8K!! Join us Sunday, June 3rd, 2018 as runners hit the streets of downtown Binghamton on a fast and furious 8K race course.
  • June 3 - Bikes and Brew - The Jewish Community Center of Binghamton (JCC) will be hosting its first ever Bikes and Brews event on June 3rd, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM.
  • June 7- Stage Reading of “Hello Girls” - This is the compelling story of how America’s first women soldiers helped win World War I, earned the vote, and fought the U.S. Army. These telephone switchboard operators helped keep communications open.
  • June 9 - FASST: Plein Air Workshop with Richard Henry - PLEIN AIR WORKSHOP WITH RICHARD HENRY The FASST Board of Directors is pleased to announce: Plein Air Workshop with Richard Henry on Saturday, June 9, 2018. Rain date June 10, 2018. Media: Watercolor, Oil or Acrylic. Cost is $30.00 for members and $40.00 for non-members.
  • June 10 - Conservation Weekend: Oceans & Climate Days - Join us on conservation weekends and take part in onsite education, plus support the Binghamton Zoo's Global Conservation Fund while you're here.
  • June 15 - The 15th Annual Discovery Center Cup Captain and Crew Golf Tournament - Friday, June 15, 2018 at Endwell Greens Golf Course. Pre-Golf Lunch, After-tournament Dinner, Gift bags for all participants, 1st, 2nd, 3rd and other prizes, fun games and a great day of golf!
  • June 16 - The Life and Architecture of Isaac Gale Perry - The career of Isaac Gale Perry was launched in 1858 with his design of the New York State Inebriate Asylum in Binghamton – now designated as a National Historic Landmark. He went on to design some of the area’s most spectacular churches, commercial blocks and residences, as well as dozens of state armories and other structures throughout New York State.
  • June 16 - Zoo Brew & Wine Too - Raise a glass for conservation at our 15th annual Zoo Brew & Wine Too! Enjoy the sights and sounds of the zoo while sipping on local and regional beer and wines. This event is limited to guests 21 years of age and over.
  • June 17 - Father's Day - Treat your dad to a wonderful day of fun at the Binghamton Zoo! To thank them for all that they do, all dads will receive free admission on Father's Day.
  • June 21 - Coffee with Creatives - Coffee with Creatives Come network, talk shop, collaborate with like minds in a relaxed, low-key atmosphere. Creatives of all genres welcome! Grab a cup of your favorite morning beverage and join the conversation.
  • June 22 - Chrysalis: A live themed competitive story telling event series - Calling all Storytellers: Chrysalis, a live themed competitive storytelling event series, coming to the Bundy Museum of History and Art, April through August.
  • June 24 - Cupcake Decorating Class - Ever want to learn how to decorate cupcakes like a pro?? Our instructor Kate is a cake decorator at Chroma's in downtown Binghamton and studying the art of Pastry baking at Delhi. She will be teaching members how to get that professional look with store bought items. Each member will take home half a dozen cupcakes that they decorated and a set of piping tips and bags!
  • June 26 - Honk, honk! Beep, beep! – It’s Truck Day at The Discovery Center - Put on your hard hat and plan to spend the day as we get ready to explore big trucks, small trucks, construction vehicles and more. Exploration and activities begin at 11:00am through 2:00pm.
  • June 30 - Enrichment Weekend @ the Zoo - Visit the Binghamton Zoo and watch as we give the animals new scents, toys, food, and objects to experience. Look for enrichment items in exhibits throughout the weekend!
